Nurture Your Seedlings This Aries Season — and Tend to Them

Spring is finally here y’all! I’m excited, forreal.

Now that the Equinox has passed and the sun is in the sign of Aries, we can ride the wave of a new energy. As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is a fiery, masculine sign ruled by Mars. In addition to being impulsive, Aries can be aggressive and stubborn — hence it’s representation of the ram. Being the baby of the zodiac, they have a lot to learn but live life with vigor; they arrived after the doldrums of winter after all!

Aries is a cardinal sign, which means they’re great initiators. Their creative spark allows them to dream up plenty of ideas and things to do, but with all of theses new items on the to-do list, will it get done?

After the vision, work towards the tangible.

When you think about it, Aries is in the beginning of the spring season, when you plant your seeds. It’s when the seedling simmers in the ground to grow its roots. This is only the beginning, you can’t see what’s happening. You have to continue to care for the plant and tend to it as time goes on.

Sometimes in life we get so excited about the thought of the end goal because of course, the beginning of anything is usually exciting and fun. But don’t get too caught up in the new! Consistency in carrying out the plan is important. Fire energy always needs a good dose of grounding to help them solidify goals and get things in motion. That’s why after Aries, comes Taurus – the fixed earth energy that brings a sense of practicality to what Aries initiated.

Enjoy the newness of the season, set realistic goals for yourself, connect to your center.
