I enjoy my own company. Even while at home, I’m rarely bored; there’s always so much to do.
Clean, write, journal, organize, learn, create art.
I have a rich inner world. Sometimes it’s a blessing and a curse.
I often go to the beach alone. To the park alone.
Simply because I enjoy it.
Conversations don’t always need to be had.
When I trek to these places by myself, I often notice others like me and feel a sense of camaraderie.
To the folks who are fine venturing out alone.
We can continue to show the world you don’t always need someone by your side.
Alone, together.

Reminds me of what my dad told me once when I was going on my first solo trip that when you’re alone, the whole world is your friends, and with friends only that particular group is the people you would interact with. ☺☺
