Are You Positively Influencing Your Community?

This post is from my January Newsletter about Aquarius season and its impact on 2021’s energy. In honor of the February 11th New Moon in Aquarius, I thought this would be a good post to share. We’re in an Aquarius stellium; the energy is strong! Start working towards those out-of-the world dreams of yours! Also, there’s more great content where this came from so I encourage you to sign up so you can receive my next newsletter later in the month.

If you could do something to benefit mankind, what would you do?

How would you make a difference in the world, in your community, in your immediate circle?

Aquarius represents change; it influences improvements for humanity and fights for social justice. This unconventional air sign is represented by the water bearer, which pours the water/nourishment out onto the earth. It’s washing away the past to make way for a new start.

As we navigate through these energies this month (6 planets in Aquarius), and honestly, this year —it’s a good time to think about how you can contribute to positive changes around you. Aquarius is about focusing on the whole, rather than the individual.

Do you have knowledge that you can share with others? Are there unique ideas you’d like to share on your website or social platform? If so, get to it! This is the time.

With new apps on the scene like Clubhouse, Parler, Twitch, and others, you’ll see how the Aquarian force to spread ideas and take advantage of free speech will certainly continue to dominate as we become even more connected in the digital world.

Herbs and spices for the season:

  • Lavender: relaxation, tension relief, sleep aid
  • Witch hazel tea: anti-inflammatory, antioxidants, soothes sore throats
  • St John’s wort: anti-depressant,
really useful for seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
  • Cumin: (can also get cumin from black seed oil) may help lower cholesterol, aid with blood sugar control

The Collective’s Contribution

During this time where there’s such a focus on the collective – world politics, the pandemic, and the effects of globalization, I wanted to share some photos I captured that represent these themes.

Structural tributes to our planet, the place we inhabit and call home… and destinations that were designed for human consumption and enjoyment. When I think about it, I feel that we can be quite a destructive species, but we also create wonderful things in the process of it all.
